In fact, there are a multitude of direct rip-offs lifted straight from obscure tracks from the 70’s and 80’s. A good example is John Davis & The Monster Orchestra’s “Bourgie’, Bourgie.'” If you listen to the riff, it’s clearly used by Gustavo Santaolalla’s #1 club hit “ The Wings” theme song from “Brokeback Mountain.” Another is Gary Gang’s lesser known “Let’s Lovedance Tonight,” which is the basis for the massive “Can’t Get Enough” by Soulsearcher.

One of the more interesting things I’ve noticed is that a lot of the more obscure songs on these sets have specific riffs that were clearly lifted for even bigger dance songs in the 90’s and early millennium. Party Favorz is back with another whopper-sized, disco-fueled party set of classic disco songs remixed for a modern-day audience.
